About the Role

As part of SalamAir’s cabin crew, you will represent the airline onboard and help deliver a safe, comfortable, and welcoming travel experience for our guests.

This role requires strong communication skills, a professional appearance, flexibility, and a passion for customer service.


Cabin Crew Requirements

1. Educational Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Additional certifications in hospitality, tourism, aviation, or related fields are an advantage.
  • Age: 20–30 years.
  • Minimum height: 160 cm proportionate to weight, as per airline standards.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, public holidays, and overnight duties.
  • Medically fit and able to meet aviation regulatory requirements.
  • Professional appearance and adherence to grooming standards.
  • Ability to swim and participate in emergency and safety procedures.

    This Open Day is open exclusively to Omani female candidates ONLY.

  • 6. What is the required age range?

    Applicants must be between 20 to 30 years old.

  • 7. Is there a minimum height requirement?

    Yes. Candidates must have a minimum height of 160 cm.

  • 8. What educational qualifications are required?

    Applicants must hold at least a High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.

  • 9. Are any additional qualifications preferred?

    Yes. Additional certifications or qualifications in Hospitality, Tourism, Aviation, or related fields will be considered an advantage.

  • 10. Are there any weight requirements?

    Candidates should have a weight proportionate to their height, in line with airline industry standards.

  • 11. Do I need previous cabin crew experience?

    No previous cabin crew experience is required. However, experience in customer service, hospitality, tourism, or aviation is an advantage.

  • 12. What qualities is SalamAir looking for in cabin crew candidates?

    We are looking for individuals who are professional, customer-focused, confident, well-groomed, and passionate about delivering exceptional service.

  • 13. Will I be interviewed on the same day?

    Shortlisted candidates will be assessed on the same day of the open day.

  • 14. Can I wear a hijab as a SalamAir Cabin Crew member?

    Yes. SalamAir welcomes candidates who choose to wear a hijab, provided it is worn professionally and in accordance with the airline's grooming and uniform standards.

  • 15. Do I need to apply online before attending the Open Day?

    No online registration is required. All eligible candidates must attend the Open Day in person and submit their applications at the venue.

  • 16. Is attendance based on first come, first served?

    The resignation only will start at 9:00 am and will end at 10:00 am

  • 17. What should I wear to the Open Day?

    Candidates are advised to dress professionally and ensure they are well-groomed. 

  • 18. What happens after the Open Day?

    SalamAir’s recruitment team will assess you and if passing all the processes you will be contacted for further processes if required.

  • 19. Is English language proficiency required?

    Yes. Candidates are expected to have good communication skills in English. Additional languages are considered an advantage.
